Nour El Gammal

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, the land of pharaohs, powerful queens and, more recently, revolutions Nour El Gammal’s upbringing was the perfect backdrop for a soul hungry for stories. Conscious of her surroundings and inspired by them, Nour’s innate curiosity led her to embark on a journey to nurture her raw talent. Her studies at New York’s Parsons School of Design and later at the Domus Academy in Milan helped develop her natural sensitivity into a palpable skill. One that is centred on the belief that at the root of a great initiative is a great narrative.

Today, Nour is an independent strategist and a multi-disciplinary creative based in Cairo. Versatile and ever-evolving, her work is timeless and deeply rooted in strong conceptual thinking that transcends trends. She skilfully mediates between the worlds of business and design through her ability to communicate ideas and stories visually. Her practice spans multiple industries including arts & culture, events, food and beverage, education, health and wellness, real estate, oil & gas, fashion, and retail- and encompasses creative strategy, brand identity, concept development and experience design.

Nour holds a BBA in Strategic Design & Management from Parsons School of Design and a MA in Visual Brand Design from Domus Academy. She has previously worked for Conde Nast Publications WWD, Vogue Paris, Style.com, and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Design Lab.
