Eklego is an award-winning architecture, interior, and furniture design studio based in Cairo. Rooted in the Greek word eklego (ἐκλέγω), meaning "to choose," the brand’s philosophy revolves around thoughtful selection—of ideas, materials, and experiences. We led a comprehensive rebranding effort to evolve Eklego from a design studio into a lifestyle brand. The strategy focused on deepening audience connection, elevating brand salience, and positioning Eklego as a curator of lived experience. The new visual identity builds on the brand's name and ethos—exploring dualities such as designer vs. user, space vs. time, and identity vs. ideology. The logomark symbolizes this dialogue, with two mirrored forms representing the ongoing exchange between the brand and its audience. The color palette highlights Eklego’s two pillars: People and Time. The refreshed identity tells a story of evolution—design that moves with life and reflects it. It translates across all brand touchpoints, from the showroom to digital platforms, creating a cohesive, immersive experience that captures Eklego’s essence: spaces that invite memory, dialogue, and belonging.
